Welcome to the North Ridgeville Office for Older Adults (Senior Center) where all our "Young at Heart" seniors gather for an abundance of activities! We offer delicious low-cost meals, plenty of smiling faces, and an activity to suit any personality. Men's Breakfast Schedule

It’s a wonderful morning of friendship at our Men’s Breakfast. If you are 55 or older, join us at 9 AM for a hot entrée, coffee, fruit cup, and juice are all included for $4.

Senior Center Spaghetti Dinner, September 27, 2024

North Ridgeville Senior Center is hosting a spaghetti dinner on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. Tickets available in advance at the Senior Center or at the door the day of the event. Cost: $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children 10 and under. Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, side salad and bread. Pop and dessert are available for $1 each. Dine in or take out. Proceeds benefit programs at the Senior Center. Thank you to the North Ridgeville Lions Club for sponsoring the event.

Medical Mondays with Dr. Alexander Zolli

Dr. Alexander Zolli is the Surgeon in Residence at LCCC. He will be presenting health topics monthly at 2:00 p.m. through November. August 26 he will present Sleep, One of the Pillars of Health; September 20 Nutrition; and October 28 Exercise.

Try It Out Tuesdays

Have you ever thought about ordering that Thai chicken dish on the menu but were too afraid you wouldn’t like it? Or maybe you just want to try something new. In this series, we will explore a variety of less common or international food items in a comfortable, no risk setting. This will be an ongoing series on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m. on August 27 - Zucchini 5 Ways; 1:30 p.m. on September 24 - Hispanic Heritage Month; 12:00 p.m. on October 22 - German Heritage Month.

Genesis and the Big Bang

Instructor Ted Smith is back for a fascinating look at event depicted in the first chapter of Genesis and those described in the Big Bang Theory. They are eerily similar. The real question is was it six days or 13.7 billion years? This class will explore how the answer is actually “yes” to both. The classes are on Mondays at 2:00 p.m., August 5, 12 and 19; September 9, 16 and 23. Register by August 2.
