The Planning and Development Department is responsible for all programs and activities related to planning and development in the City. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the City’s Master Plan, updating the City’s Zoning Code, providing guidance to the City’s decision makers regarding public and private development and implementing policies aimed at improving the quality of life and economic well-being of the City and all of its residents. The Planning and Development Department includes the Building Division and the Engineering Division.
