The Finance Department oversees all financial operations of the City of North Ridgeville. This responsibility encompasses the receipting, investing, accounting and disbursing of all funds as required by law, and in accordance with the City’s Charter and Codified Ordinances.
The Department’s major functions are essential to the compliance and financial operations of the City. They include payroll and benefits, City purchasing, accounts payable, debt service obligations, and City tax incentive programs.
The Finance Director is the chief fiscal officer of the City. She assists the Mayor and Council in the preparation of the annual budget and acts as financial advisor in connection with municipal affairs. The Director also serves as secretary of the Fair Housing Board.
